Belleterre Community Partners and the Town of Hartland have entered into a Development Agreement to build a new 20-unit affordable housing apartment and create a 15-lot plan of subdivision on a 2.45 ha property currently owned by the municipality. The Town of Hartland is located on the Saint John River in the central-western portion of the province that is also the agricultural heartland of Carleton County. The town is best known for being the site of the Hartland Bridge, the longest covered bridge in the world and is the location of the Upper River Valley Hospital, a full-service hospital serving a catchment population of 45,000.
