Alright, the team at Belleterre Real Estate Partners Limited has to confess, we are real estate developers. We therefore accept all of the negative associations and stereotypes that come with such a confession.
We must also disclose that we are very good at finding land and/or buildings which need a new use or purpose – functionally obsolete real estate if you will. Many of the properties we end up developing have environmental constraints, natural or cultural heritage features which need to be protected, or they are underperforming properties that have been poorly managed. In all cases, we put our significant real estate development experience to good use and find ways to make the real estate project both mindful and profitable.
Some of the community benefits generated by Belleterre Real Estate Partners Limited, and its many partner lenders and builders include: the restoration of natural heritage features, such as rivers and creeks, and the protection of endangered species; improving groundwater and soil conditions through remediation; preserving woodlots and other natural heritage features in order to maintain wildlife habitat corridors; and Increasing the municipal tax base.
We cannot find any reason to apologize for what we do. Feel free to contact us if you don’t agree, because we welcome good healthy debates on city building in general and real estate development in particular.
